• Avondale police lieutenant to lead Camp Verde agency
  An Avondale police lieutenant who has made significant improvements to several units is leaving.
• Litchfield Elementary School District works to curb school bullying
  A group of teens in the Litchfield Elementary district is crusading to stop bullying in their schools.
• Hundreds participate in West Valley IMS races
  Courses took runners through 10 W. Valley cities, including Buckeye, Peoria, Phoenix, Glendale.
• Saddle Mountain Unified School District to decide on school closure, grade reconfiguration
  The school board will vote on whether to close Winters' Well Elementary School.
• Arizona home development's course changes with downturn
  On the western edge of metro Phoenix, nearly 2,000 homes surround a small downtown. Spanish- and Craftsman-style houses line the quiet side streets, their front porches facing out to greet visitors.
